Welcome to the Houston Area Sober Recreation Committee website. The purpose of this website is to provide the sober community of the Houston area with information on upcoming events sponsored by the SRC. The SRC sponsors many activities throughout the year. These include Softball, Golf Outings, Bowling, Dances, Volleyball, and Basketball.
As of January 1st, 2003 the Sober Recreation Committee is part of The Council on Alcohol and Drugs Houston. We are very pleased to join The Council and look forward to working with them to improve our service to the sober community of Houston.
Our meetings are held monthly at The Council building the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm.
If you would like to get on our mailing list please click here. Our mailing list will be used to mail newsletters, fliers and registration forms for our upcoming events. It is a great way to stay in touch with the sober recreation events in the Houston area.
