SRC MISSION STATEMENT . . . .

The SRC of Houston consists of a group of men and women who believe in the importance of fun and fellowship in personal recovery whose Mission is to provide recreational activities and opportunities for members of the recovering community by promoting fun and fellowship in a clean and sober environment.

The SRC operates under the umbrella of The Council on Alcohol and Drugs Houston and as such is nonprofit and nonpartisan.

SRC GOALS:

To plan and promote fun activities for the recovering community including three golf tournaments per year. bi-monthly bowling events, on-going softball tournaments and league play, and special events such as the Annual Addicted to Comedy event.

The SRC also helps to promote the activities of other recovery organizations.

Information about SRC and other events is distributed through e-mailings, advertising and posting of notices of activities to various institutions of recovery.
